Measure description
All TIFF files are checked for file size. All TFW files are checked for rounding errors. Image names are checked against the project tile grid.





Data quality report - Completeness omission
Measure description
All orthoimagery is visually inspected for completeness to ensure that no gaps, hard seam lines, or shifting has occurred. All images are clipped to the tile extent and radiometrically balanced with surrounding images. All images are cloud free and source photography is flown leaf-off.





Data quality report - Quantitative attribute accuracy
Measure description
Image color values may deviate from color values of the original imagery due to image value interpolation during the rectification process and during quality control processing of the imagery. Radiometry is verified by visual inspection of the ortho image.





Data quality report - Absolute external positional accuracy
Dimension horizontal


Measure description
The ortho imagery horizontal positional accuracy and the assurance of that accuracy depend, in part, on the accuracy of the data inputs to the rectification process. These inputs consist of the digital terrain model (DTM), fully digital analytic aerotriangulation (FDAAT) control and methods, the photo source camera calibration, and digital aerial photographs. The orthoimagery output from these inputs meet National Map Accuracy Standards (NMAS). Aerial cameras have current certification from the USGS, National Mapping Division, Optical Science Laboratory.

Evaluation method
Horizontal accuracy was tested by comparing the raw contours from each flightline against adjoining flightlines at specific points. Additionally, contours were created and viewed in Microstation to properly QC the positional accuracy of the DTM data.

Description
The digital orthophotography was created by rectifying the digital aerial photography to the DTM data and GPS-survey results using Cubic Convolution methodology. The orthophotography was mosaicked and radiometrically balanced to ensure tonal consistency. The final pixel resolution was provided in 0.5 foot, 1 foot, 2 foot, 4 foot and 8 foot resolutions. Said orthophotography meets National Map Accuracy Standards.
